MusHaves by Tokabear is a comfort-first fashion brand focused on premium muslin clothing for everyday wear. We create breathable, lightweight, skin-friendly clothing designed especially for Indian weather and modern lifestyles.

2. What is muslin fabric?

Muslin, also known as malmal, is a premium fine cotton fabric known for its softness, breathability, and airy feel. Traditionally rooted in India, muslin is made using the finest cotton fibres, making it extremely comfortable for all-day wear.

3. Why is muslin better for summers?

Muslin is highly breathable, lightweight, and gentle on the skin. It allows better airflow, absorbs moisture efficiently, and helps reduce discomfort caused by heat, sweat, and humidity.

4. Is MusHaves clothing sustainable?

Yes. We focus on natural fabrics, timeless silhouettes, and long-lasting comfort-driven clothing. Muslin is a breathable cotton fabric that supports a more mindful and comfortable approach to fashion.

5. Is muslin transparent?

Most MusHaves products are designed with comfortable coverage in mind. However, lighter shades may appear slightly sheer under certain lighting conditions. We recommend nude innerwear for lighter colours.

6. Why does muslin feel different from regular cotton?

Muslin is made using finer cotton fibres and a softer weave compared to regular cotton fabrics. This gives it a lighter, softer, and more breathable feel.

7. Does muslin shrink after wash?

Like all natural cotton fabrics, minor shrinkage may occur after the first wash. Following the recommended wash care instructions helps maintain the fit and softness of the garment.

8. Does muslin become softer after washing?

Yes. Muslin naturally becomes softer with every wash while maintaining its breathable texture.

9. Is muslin suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Muslin is soft, lightweight, and gentle on the skin, making it suitable for sensitive skin and long hours of wear.

10. Does muslin wrinkle easily?

Muslin has a naturally soft and relaxed texture. Light wrinkles are a characteristic of the fabric and are part of its effortless, breathable appeal.

Sizing & Fit

11. How do I choose the right size?

Our sizes are usually slightly larger than standard sizing. We recommend choosing one size smaller than what you usually order or referring to the size chart available on each product page.

12. Are MusHaves outfits oversized or regular fit?

Most MusHaves styles are designed for relaxed comfort with easy movement. Product descriptions mention whether the fit is regular, relaxed, or oversized.

13. What if my size does not fit?

We offer easy exchange support subject to our exchange policy. You can contact our support team and we will help you with the process.

Wash Care

14. How should I wash muslin clothing?

Muslin garments can be easily machine washed using mild detergents.

Wash Care Guidelines:

Do not soak the garment.
Do not stretch around stitch lines.
Do not squeeze very hard.
Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
Steam ironing is preferred.
Avoid hanging the garment for very long hours as it may alter the shape of the fabric.

There may be slight shrinkage after wash, which is natural in cotton fabrics. However, our garments are pre-washed, and after ironing, the shape and size generally return back to normal.

15. Can muslin be ironed?

Yes. Use low to medium heat while ironing. Steam ironing works best for maintaining the fabric’s natural texture.

16. Can I tumble dry muslin garments?

Low heat tumble drying may be used occasionally, but air drying is recommended to preserve softness and fabric life.

Orders & Shipping

17. How long does delivery take?

We are not a fast fashion brand and do not maintain huge inventories.

If your ordered item is readily available in inventory, delivery usually takes around 3–5 working days. However, some high-selling products may need to be freshly stitched, which can take an additional 3–5 working days.

We are a small bootstrapped business constantly making efforts to deliver your order at the earliest possible time. If your order is taking slightly longer, we sincerely request your patience and support.

If you need your order urgently, feel free to reach out to us. Depending on our production timelines, we may be able to prioritise your order. Additional charges may apply for urgent orders.

18. Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Yes, COD is available on eligible orders and serviceable pin codes.

19. How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking details via SMS, email, or WhatsApp.

20. Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellation may not be possible.

21. Do you take custom orders?

Yes, we do accept limited customisations in existing designs.

Possible customisations include:

Adding or removing pockets
Adding or removing zips
Minor sleeve or length alterations (up to 1–2 inches)
Custom colours in existing designs

All customisations are subject to a minimum customisation charge of ₹500 per piece.

Please note:

We do not create entirely new custom designs.
Every custom request is reviewed individually.
Our designer may connect with you before confirming the order.
The custom order is confirmed only after approval from our side.

We sincerely request customers to understand that customisation involves additional effort and cannot be offered free of cost.

Returns & Exchanges

22. Do you offer returns?

Returns are subject to our return policy.

Important return guidelines:

A proper video of the item being handed over to the pickup agent is mandatory.
In case of loss during return transit, we will not be responsible if you do not have a clear handover video showing all items in proper condition.
Minor deductions may apply towards charges paid to third-party services while processing the order.
If the product is found damaged during quality check or if tags are removed, return or exchange will not be accepted.
No return or exchange request will be accepted after 14 days from the date of delivery.
Custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange.

23. How do I request an exchange?

You can contact our support team with your order details, and we will guide you through the exchange process.

Please ensure:

The item is unused and in original condition.
Original tags are intact.
The exchange request is raised within 14 days of delivery.
A proper handover video is recorded while giving the package to the pickup agent.

24. What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/videos of the issue. Our team will review the concern and assist you with the appropriate resolution.
